Frequently Asked Questions

Getting started

  • I partner with established businesses that need a rebrand to stay relevant or want strategic guidance to take their business to new levels. I help refine their brand, so it remains true to their essence and purpose while evolving in a way that supports growth, clarity, and long‑term commercial growth. This work brings together strategy, identity, messaging, and direction so their brand feels aligned, distinctive, and ready for what’s next.

Alongside this, I support emerging entrepreneurs by helping them set up the essential brand foundations they need to launch with confidence and clarity, without wasting time or energy on guesswork.

  • Absolutely! Firstly, congratulations on making the decision to start your own business. It can be overwhelming especially when juggling your existing full-time job, family etc.

I design the process to fit around your life, with clear steps, flexible scheduling, and focused sessions. When Dahlia Collective is with you from the beginning, you move with clarity and confidence, building a brand that launches smoothly and grows with strength and purpose over time.

  • In an ideal world, yes. Your logo and website are much stronger when they are built on a clear strategy that defines who you are, what you stand for, and how you want to be experienced. I also understand that businesses grow in real time and not always in a perfect sequence.

Wherever you are in your journey, I can meet you there. I can guide you through the full process from strategy to logo and website, or I can review what you already have and refine your existing assets.

  • That’s very common. Through guided questions and conversation, I clarify your positioning, ideal customers, and core message so your brand has a strong, confident foundation that will support future growth and expansion.

  • Most people feel ready when they want clarity, direction, and a solid foundation they can grow from. If you’re craving a brand that feels aligned, confident, and true to where you’re heading, that’s usually a good indication. Branding is valuable when you want your business to be expressed clearly and intentionally, and when you’re ready for a framework that supports your next level.

The process

  • Most brand strategy projects unfold over 4 weeks, however this can range depending on the depth of strategy, the pace that feels sustainable for you or if you have a specific deadline. If you need assistance with executing the brand strategy into design work, additional time would be required.

I provide clear project timelines and structure the process so it feels spacious, clear, and manageable alongside the rest of your life or business.

  • You can expect a brand that feels clear, confident, and genuinely aligned with who you are and what you’re building. My approach combines proven marketing principles with a deep understanding of your purpose and values, so the outcome is both strategic and authentic. You’ll walk away with strong foundations, clear messaging, and a visual identity that supports growth and helps your business communicate with clarity and consistency.

  • My role as a strategist is to help you understand who you are, what you stand for, and how to communicate it. A designer translates that clarity into visuals. I bring both together, so your brand is meaningful, aligned, and built to last.

  • Your involvement matters, and it begins with showing up honestly and with an open mind. The more you share about your goals, hopes, dreams, and even the things that feel uncertain, the more meaningful the outcome will be.

You’re in a safe space throughout this work, and everything you share is treated with full confidentiality. When you feel comfortable being open, I can understand you on a deeper level and build a personal brand that reflects who you are and where you’re heading. I guide the process, but your insight and honesty shape the heart of the work.

  • Absolutely. Many clients come to me at a point of growth or transition. I help you refine, evolve, or rebuild your brand so it reflects where you’re heading, not where you’ve been.

  • Yes! I look at your brand foundations, messaging, and visibility to identify what’s holding you back. Together, we create a clearer, more compelling presence that supports expansion.

  • You’re not alone and rest assured, there’s no judgment here. Your current brand simply reflects an earlier stage of your business. My role is to help you create something that finally feels aligned and confident.

  • Definitely. DIY through Canva or even AI can be a great starting point, but it often lacks the depth, distinction and cohesion needed for growth. I help you build a brand with clarity, strategy, and intention behind every element.

Working with existing brands

  • Yes! If you feel you need additional support once your brand foundations are in place, I’m available to continue working with you. We can look at what you need, how involved you’d like me to be, and create a support plan that helps you feel guided and confident as you move forward.

  • Sure can! I support clients with messaging, content direction, and visibility strategies so your brand doesn’t just look aligned, it’s expressed consistently and confidently.

  • Yes! After our initial conversations to uncover your project and website requirements, I put together a package before any work begins. This includes pairing you with the right designer from the Dahlia Collective community. I choose someone whose strengths and approach suit your project, and I stay involved throughout the process. I drive the strategy and project manage the design work so the website is built in full alignment and reflect the brand strategy.

Support beyond brand strategy

  • Branding is not one‑size‑fits‑all, so the cost depends on what your project needs. Some clients come to me for strategy only, while others want full execution that includes a logo, website and more. Once I understand your goals and the level of support required, I put together a tailored package that reflects the scope of work and the outcomes you want to achieve.

  • Yes. I offer payment plans to make the process feel manageable and supportive. Once I understand the scope of your project, we can set up a structure that works for both of us.

Most clients choose a split payment, with an initial instalment to begin the work and the remainder due on delivery, but we can discuss what feels right for your situation.

  • Yes. I can offer early evening video or phone calls on weeknights, and email is available at any time so you can stay in touch in a way that fits your schedule.

Saturday in‑person meetings are possible if required and pending availability. I structure the process to be flexible and supportive, and I can work around your availability where it is reasonable so the project keeps its momentum without adding pressure to your week.
